EMV QR Hub Privacy and Security Standards
EMV QR Hub provides EMVCo QR generation, QR payload decoding, TLV validation, CRC integrity verification, and payment QR interoperability tools with privacy-first browser-based processing.
The platform uses local QR processing architecture and does not store merchant-presented QR payloads, payment routing information, or sensitive QR code content on external servers.

EMV QR Hub is a technical utility platform. We do not process financial transactions or store sensitive payment data. EMV QR Hub is an independent educational and technical platform and is not affiliated with EMVCo, LLC.
2. Data Collection & Offline Processing
Our core application architecture operates strictly with local browser-based processing. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share merchant-presented QR payloads, merchant identifiers, generated QR data, payment routing structures, or personal information with external servers or third-party databases.
3. Cookies & Advertising
QR generation, decoding, TLV inspection, and CRC validation run locally in your browser. Those payment payloads are not uploaded for advertising. We use Google AdSense to support the platform. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. You can control personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Non-personalized ads may still be shown where required by policy or regional rules. Ad units are placed in informational surfaces (for example Learn articles and selected content sections). We do not place ads over QR canvases, generator forms, or decoder results.
4. Third-Party Analytics
EMV QR Hub uses aggregated and anonymous Firebase Analytics to improve platform reliability, user experience, and feature optimization. This analytical data cannot be linked to specific QR payloads, merchant data, or individual payment structures.
5. EMVCo QR Technical Standards
The platform supports EMVCo QR interoperability workflows, TLV payload structuring, CRC integrity validation, merchant-presented QR architectures, and QR decoding operations for developers, fintech teams, merchants, and payment solution providers.
